They are so cheap because they are junk. If you are looking for a true coilover you should check into Tein, JIC, ZEAL, APEX, ect..
If you want a sleeve kit stick with Ground Control or Skunk 2, they use rated springs per each application.

had some r1 coilovers on my integra back then... rode rough as hell.. worst than my friend's skunk2... the quality sucks... try getting ground control... never experience them.. but i hear they are quite good...

im riding on Skunks with Tokicos right now, sick of the harsh ride, who cares about handling i want comfort, thinking of getting a real coilover setup but will definetly never get the R1 crapola.

if you are for comfort get GC, if you are for race set Skunk2.

if you go just with the coilover sleeve go groundcontrol. And never try to take the cheap way out on suspenion or tires because thats whats keeping you on the road during your attempts to act like the fast and the furious
