Coilovers or Shock/Spring
Yah i was just wondering if i would be better off gettin the tein basic damper kit for $670 or b better off buying sum Koni yellows with sum springs, any input is appreciated.
not worth spending $600+ for some teins. if you get a good set of coilovers and shocks, it will run you around the same price as teins. i would rather get ground controls and some tokico shocks.

The Tein SS isn't a track setup. It's really just a bling setup. Even the Tein Flex isn't really track worthy against a proper Ground Control/Koni setup. To get Tein's that will effectively compete with the GC/Koni setup, you'll easily spend a couple of thousand dollars.

Amen to that!! I am wanting tune my suspension in a little more and all everyone is saying is go with the Tein's, but the Ground Control with some good dampers, give a world of possibilities. Not to mention they are very cost effective.

Well jdmjerk, judging by your name I can guess that you are a bandwagoneer, and have jumped on the JDM one. Tein is BLING suspension, unless you get the high end models and then its not worth getting them over some other stuff. I have been reading GC/Koni vs Tein setup for a while. From what I have read Tein SS is a much more bling factor and they are not as good as the GC/Koni set up.
