Default Raced my friend...

Hey guys my friend just got a new IS300 with the LS tuning package about a week ago.. he got it with about 50 miles on it and now hes at around 1000... Hes still a newbie at driving stick. But he said that no matter how bad his shifting is that he would beat me because his IS300 is 215hp (+8~10 from his exhaust) and 218torque more or less.... So we raced three times. The first time we stopped at a light and when it hit green we went... I beat him by a car... Then the 2nd time we raced he lost by about 3-4 cars. The third time we raced was from a roll and he passed me at about 100.. so I lost... When we got to the next street light there was a GSR there.. He asked me if i wanted to race so I said okay.. When the light turned green.. I had a faster start. I was winning by about 2-3 cars and there was a car in front of me so I cut the GSR off and he went over to the opposite lane. But it was pretty much over already. After that we stopped by am pm and chilled for a while. Yea anywayz thats my story.. Im pretty impressed with the improvement of the gredddy evo.. I havent raced much since I got it but I can feel the difference

Good kill. Its good to know you're keeping the prelude on top. I've been wanting to race one, but can't ever find one to see how I do

This is what is terrible about street racing, you cut the GSR off, and then he had to switch lanes, at probably over 75mph, its hard to do that without knowing who could be there.. Or what if the car in front of you hit their brakes hard, then what?? Really guys, lets try to keep it on the track..

or even better, hit the brakes and cut no one off. i hate idiots that need to get the final edge to prove absolutely nothing.

Yes I know... It mightve been a little dangerous but the car that was in front of me I guess figured we were racing so he signaled right to switch into my lane so I had to switch over to the left lane which in turn made the gsr switch into the lane of the opposing traffic. Luckily this was at 3:00am so there were not many cars around.

Well said dude.
And if you really got to streetrace, do it when there is absolutely no traffic and play it safer

Just wait till his engine is "broken" in already... give it a couple of thous. of miles!

Then race'em again!

Glad to hear that a 5th generation prelude beat an IS300.

Street races are dangerious and if you're caught, the fines are steep, they also take away your car in some states, be careful out there...

Yeah as long as ya have a nice hole shot those GSR's ain't crap. I beat em at the track all the time. Got to semi finals last friday and got beat out by a prelude with a 65shot juice.

Nice kills with the is300, 15000 for more for a piece of junk. that looks nice

Dude, you have no room to talk with a 9.8 1/8 time.. i have seen MANY GS-Rs go faster than that in the 1/8..

Sorry, I just don't like it when people call another car (certainly a Honda), crap.
