help, getting CEL 1 and 9
ok i have a 1st gen b16 in my rex with a pr3 ecu, anyways ive just been driving normally and i get a CEL, its code 1 air intake temp.... then later tonight i went to do some pulls on the car and out of nowhere i get a CEL #9, no.1 cylinder position!
im so stumped, i changed my timing belt over 3 months ago or so and ive had no problems at all. it just did it and the car runs fine, doesnt hesitate or anything. im so stumped and CEL #1 intake air temp? i dont get that, what does that mean? it cant be the temp of the intake charge because im spraying! ive never got any of these codes. other guess is its prob the 02 sensor since its kinda well going but my main concern is code 9
only way i can see CEL #9 happening is if the t-belt slipped a tooth or 2 but CEL #1 i have no idea
the only thing that i can think of besides the t-belt is that i replaced a few fuses that blew out on my mistake and took out my dash, clock and rear window defroster and i was messing around with the fuses but i dont think i did anything wrong... lol its pretty straight forward
oh wait.... well my timing is off abit, its retarded since im running spray and i am using colder plugs.... it backfires alot but the thing is that it isnt running like ***, i did a gtec pass 2 confirm and i got 14.6@102mph all motor, i constantly runthose times all motor so its not like its running any worse since its back firing alot. but maybe thats it.... argh i dunno i need some opinions
can anyone please help
thanks
