Default where did you get your rollbar/rollcage fabbed?

Im trying to collect a list of places that offer rollbars.

Idealy companys that have actually had experience with hondas. and not just the ability to weld to pieces of metal tubing together

Although we use KIRK in our cars you can also contact Art Morrison for his line. All 3 companies mentioned are longtime SCCA and NASA suppliers.

AlteredSpeed (see link in sig) can build you a roll cage.
The owner has a DA Teg right now that he's building a roll cage for. Also the mechanic has tons of experience in it and has fully built cages in his porsche race cars..

give them a call, and since your in the bay, your not that far...

It looks as if they specialize in drag race cages. I would suggest someone who is more familiar with SCCA/NASA road race spec cages.

You're West coast, so this doesn't help, but for future searchers in the GA area. Robinson Racing in Cumming GA does a great cage. Not going into the doors with the Nascar bars was my idea -- I wanted to keep my windows functional.

Why?
If you are familiar with RoadRace cages give them a spec sheet and a drawing of how you want it and have them build it.

I'm not saying that shop could not build a good road race cage or that they never built one, I have no idea. I'm just saying when I picked my cage builder I made sure he was experienced with road racing cages. I wouldn't want to spend $1500-$3000 to be the shops Guinea pig. A rule book won't tell you how to build a good cage, just what is required.

All of AlteredSpeeds cages are built to SCCA/NASA spec and the guy who built them is tech for NASA, so he knows how to build one to spec. And they are right outside of the bay..
