Default Hondata s200 and 98 Prlude Q's

I just have a few questions about a soon to be installed hondata on my car.....

1) With there be any issues with the O2 sensors being that there are two of them and OBD1 only has 1? Does the other just become no-functional, or wil I get a code?

2) will there be any issues with the distributor? Will I need an OBD1 dist. or no?

Im using a P28 ecu.............

You won't have any issues. The Hondata (since you're now running an OBD1 ECU) will ignore the secondary (one in the cat) O2 sensor. You can remove it and plug the hole with a spark plug if you want......the primary O2 is the only one you need, and that will only be used if you run the car in closed loop (allowing the ECU to trim fuel based on O2 readings)

2) will there be any issues with the distributor? Will I need an OBD1 dist. or no?

Nope. You need an Chipped ECU (hondata ready), OBD2->OBD1 conversion harness, and Hondata unit. Let me know if you need anything (ECU/hondata stuff) or have more ?'s, our shop is a Hondata dealer.

Nope, I have all of the above mentioned stuff so im good................
YOu said something about closed loop, can you educate me further on this?? I would like try and work something where I dont have an exhuast coming out the back of the car, just have it dunp through a muffler underneath the car if there is room.
Otherwise, run a bypass that I can open and close for track/street use...

Open loop and closed loop are just terms that describe the use of the O2 in altering the fuel trim. Honda ECU's are allowed to trim or add fuel by something like +-50% from the values on the stock map. When the car is in open loop it doesn't change the fuel trim based on O2 feedback, and when it's in closed loop it will use the stock narrowband O2 to add or remove fuel depending on the readings.....
