Default 98+ Bumper Removal Help

hey guys, i've searched and found nothing, so im just gonna ask... hopefully i wont get bitched at too much... anyway, i need help removing my front bumper... it's a 98 integra... those 6-7 screws at the top of the bumper under the hood are an absolute pain in the ***... i dont know why they are so damn tight... but the fact of the matter is, i dont want to strip them...is there any way to remove the little ******* without stripping them? or do i just drill through them and order a new set from acura??? any tips on how to get those things off would be much appreciated...please, no smart *** comments either...i'm already aware of how sad it is for a dude not being able to remove a damn screw

thanks in advance

Removed mine with no problem. Need to find the right size philips. And if you feel it's too tight, use a hammer to hammer it a few times to loosen it up. Always apply pressure when you turn...

If you can support the radiator support from underneath, then use an impact screwdriver. I just use a large screwdriver and put all of my weight on top of it when I turn it.

Also note that there are two 10mm bolts on the bottom of the car, two phillips head screws that will require a really short screwdriver, the two screws at the bottom of the fenderwell which are in plain sight, the screws that require the inner fender to be pulled back to get, and a few 10mm bolts up top. I can pull my front bumper in about 10 minutes, but I've done it so damn many times. It shouldn't take more than half an hour.

yeah i stripped a few of mine too. they are really easy to strip if you use the wrong size phillips screwdriver.i took them out with a vice grip (? is that what you call it), its like a plier that locks onto the edges of the screw, and then you can just twist it out with that.
