Brake Fluid + Power Steering Fluid
ok...this is a bit of venting + a call for precautions....id just like to say im REALLY embarressed about this one
like the retard i am, i go to top off my brake fluid (DOT3)....well, it just so happens that i poured some into the power steering resovior...i wanna say maybe a 1/2 centimeter rise in the fluid level.....plz keep the flaming to a minimum...
im taking the car into my mechanics on monday/tuesday for a well needed valve adjustment, and was just planning on having him flush the system + put new PS fluid in....ill just being driving from school and back for a few days, so do i have to worry about siezing up my PS pump or nething???
im just retarded when it comes to routine vehicle maintence...god damnit....

If you haven't driven it since, I'd recommend getting a turkey baster and suction out the contents of the power steering fluid reservoir. Then refill with clean PS fluid. Once you've driven it, forget this idea. Your system will have tried to mix and circulate.
The brake fluid has a higher specific gravity and will flow to the bottom of the system. Therefore, it may be difficult to eliminate without a thorough flush.
I wouldn't worry about damaging your system. Just get it flushed as soon as you can.
