i dont know maybe its just me but isnt everyone gonna be biased to pick honda figuring this isnt subaru-tech

 

i think the s2, there was a couple of stock ones i saw at the track that ran 15.6-15.9

what did you see run a 15.6? an s2000? and what state was that in?

 

wrx...hell no. if you ABUSE the s2k, it'll kill the shiet out of a wrx. but then again, to get get the best times out of the scooby, you have to abuse it too. 6k rpm drops n' shiet. but anyways, back in my olden days when i used to run people...i used to keep up w/ modded wrx's. but, s2ks, i never stood a chance against.

15.4 is prolly the fastest i saw one run. n the s2 i saw that ran hit a 14.4, stock

The WRX all the way. NOt until it is in 5th gear though. The S will keep up pretty well but the WRX will pull slightly eventually.

Trust me I would know, my fiance and I own both a WRX and an S2000 and have raced a couple of times. I kept up in the S, but he eventually got me just enough. And with mods like we have done as well the S2k can't stand a chance now. And you saw a Wrx run 15.4. That is not very good. Our stock one was in the low 14's and now low 13's. Soon to be 12's.

 

And where was this? I am in Arizona racing in 100 degree weather and run 14.3. All the other S2000's out here that I have seen run about that as well. Either I am that good of a racer for being a girl, or they just don't know how to drive it.

 

Off the line the WRX will take it. Then later once in like third I bet the s2k will own that **** in the WRX. My stock rsx type s can beat a stock WRX from a 15 mph rolling start.

 

i say an s2000 because i ran against a pretty moded wrx and my car at the time only had an intake. he dialed in at 14.4 and i dialed in at 14.0. at the moment i thought he wouldve took me but at the end i got him by .3 sec right before i got to the line. i would say the f20c would take a wrx

 

No way. Maybe the first 2 seconds it would be winning. My friend owns an rsx type s and he stands no chance either. Once the wrx's turbo is spooled the rsx is done. Well the S and the RSX stay ok next to each other, the S will always win though.

 

Well the track times have nothing to do with who would win. The wrx probably had a bad run. It could be anything. Like I said my fiance and I own both and have raced at the track. And the only way I won in the S is him running badly. Otherwise I would be ahead just alittle and then he spools up and ends up passing me a little ways before the finish line. If anyone lives here lets test this theory out at Firebird. (Not sounding rude). Everyone races differently, some drive those cars better than others. The next Firebird event here in Arizona, if anyone owns or knows of someone that owns a WRX I will race them at the track, showing you they would always win. And I would race my own now, but it would be pointless he is modded now. And in 1st he screams past me.

 

Stock for stock, the S2000 out accelerates, out brakes, turns better, and puts down quicker lap times than the WRX - understandably so. The STi is more worthy competition.

And all this "it runs an XX.XX in the quarter-mile" talk further perpetuates the existence of "Ricer Chit Chat."

Hm... i guess the WRX will win at first but in the long run the S will overtake the WRX... but think of it this way. If the S had a turbo like the WRX.... the S would KILL.

 

Exactly. The wrx will get the S until top end. Otherwise after mods the WRX will win without a doubt. And yes, the "quarter mile times" have nothing to do with who will beat who.
