What's a good price to get my bottle neck removed?
going to get that nasty first bottle neck removed from my exhasut....the one directly after the cat (on the first 2" of the b-pipe)
i want to keep cost LOW....obviously, since i'm not just buying a whole new exahust. but i also want to keep the sound low.
so, would $30-$40 sound right? i guess it basically involves cutting the bottleneck piece out and welding in a new 2.25" piece with a new 3-bolt flange.
thanks!

sounds about right.. even the work to a muffler shop is very little, i highly doubt they will charge you less than $30-40. They gotta make some money
Dave (SMSP) has a piece available to do just that which costs about what you're expecting to pay, but you still need to take down the exhaust and find someone to do the welding.
Second option is to take it to your local "muffler shop" and see what they can do (if they're willing to give it a try).

thanks guys.
i should get at least 2-3 ponies with JUST this change, right?
eventually i'm planning on running a 2.5" test pipe and JDM header so that's my main reason for getting rid of that little constriction.
