Well first my car is a 90 Si and I have a JDM B16 I just swapped. Lately I've been getting code 15 and did some troubleshooting from the helms manual. Well I know my ECU is good and everythign flashes like it's supposed to.

The engine will crank and I my fuel pump primes like it's supposed to so I have no problems with my main relay.

Here's the weird part when I'm cranking over my engine it will try and start but it acting like there's a very weak spark. I'm starting to think either my coil or ignitor is going or has gone out.

Is there a for sure way to test the ignitor or coil itself with a voltmeter?

 

dis cap/rotor maybe?or timing is off maybe

 

right your timing might be off by a tooth or so. Also check the compression do a leak down if you have too. I wouldn't check the dizzy or igniter at this point...like i said check compression aiiiiight

 

timing is dead on so that's not a problem. The guy that I got my swap from drove the car with the B16 in his car to my house and we swapped over everything from there. Leak down test is great and I'm getting 195 all the way across

so as of right now it will crank but I'm getting any spark from it seems like. Is there a way to test the ignitor and coil?

 

maybe new dist/rotor?

I'm trying to find someone's engine that I can try my dizzy first and see if the ignitor or coil went out on it
