Default dual point intake maniflod using si 1.6 multipoint engine

I did An si d16 swap into a friends dx, but he wanted to keep the dual point for some reason, so we bolted the dx intake manifold up to the 1.6. NOw it starts up but it idles really high. We,ve tried an si ecu and an integra ecu, with the same results. Any idea what else we need to do.

You'll probably need to use the DX ecu and if you haven't, the DX distributor. Also, look for any open vaccum lines.

make sure there's no leaks on all vacuum hoses and intake manifold is installed right.

i agree with using the DX ecu. and, this may sound dumb but double check the throttle cable. play around with that if you havent and see if you can get the idle to drop a bit.

i'm using the dx ecu now and the dx dist. idle stays at 2500 even when warmed up. We've checked the throttle cable. i'll double check the vacuum hoses . thank for time

The dx tps works backwards from the pm6 ecu, not the pm5. And if he just changed the block and head I dount he changed the 2 tps wires, you only switch them if your going to use the Si manifold. But if you did switch these wires switch them back. I dont think thats the problem because if it was the ecu woudl read WOT and your idle would be much higher than 2500. Check for vaccume leaks, undo the throttle cable completely, if it still idles high you can mess with the idle control screw on the tb.

We're using the dx manifold, so wires shouldn;t need to be switched. WE've tried the adjustment screw, with no effect at all. ONly thing i can think is that maybe some of the old intake gasket was still on when weput the new gasket in. I'm going to take the manifold off again and check on tues. Thanks again for your responses.
