Pics/Info---DA Traction Bars from Z10
The Traction bar kits for the 90-93 integra will be available to the public in less than 2 weeks. Wanted to give everyone a heads up and some info regarding the bars. I was chosen to test the prototype set and give feedback to Z10. Mind you that I feel obligated to share any and all info on these bars with H-T regardless of wether it is good or bad.
Even though the DA's are equipped with a factory radius rod setup, wheel hop is still an issue in these cars. I lost a couple of diffs/cases to this problem especially when on the 24.5's. Since the Z10 bars were put on, wheel hop has COMPLETELY stopped. The ground clearance is way better than stock, the crossmember doesnt sit nearly as low as the stocker. Before, I had to cut the **** outta my oem member to allow clearance for the JDM R header. Now I have 2 3/4in of clearance where before there was only 1/4in. This setup will clear a 3in downpipe easily as well as a big header.
The front trans mount is retained and is nice and easy to work with. The setup uses two heim joints for easy caster adjustment while still on the car. This would definitely be beneficial to those road racers out there, who frequent different tracks. Havent hit a well prepped track yet, but on the street the car dead hooks. Im hoping for high 1.5 60's with this setup...If anyone has any questions regarding the bars, feel free to IM me or contact Z10 @ 732-922-2309. The price is 450 shipped and powdercoated. They do offer the bars without powdercoat for a reduced price. Okay, enough talkin here are pics....

What i meant was... If u had a DA that has ABS, you'd notice you have a ABS Modulator that is supported by the stock cross member... With this traction bar there is no place to put it..

those look very nice. Cant wait ! Im curious to see the Full-Race version as well
