Default H22 Swap and losing pwr steering pump

Just a quick question, of the swap pics I have seen on this forum it appears that the swaps that are done seem to be missing the pwr steering pump. Is the pump sacrificed for fitment or is that just the preference of the driver?

No but you must run longer or the lude lines....but most people just nix their ps, a/c and cruise. But IMO I want those "standards" Driving without power steering sucks, a/c in the heat is miserable and cc is nice on long drives. I look at the power that is gained and the weight saved, in retrospect its not that much to warrant the removal of. But then again its just my opinion .

Thanks. Yeah Im in Florida and not having A/c is most assuredly NOT an option. You are saying that the lude lines will fit but the stock f22 will be too short, correct?

The actual lines won't connect, I am pretty sure you have to use the lude ps pump and lines. The f series lines do connect the same way, but most swaps come with ps ac etc etc if not junkyard oWnZ j00.

The Prelude uses a different fitting to connect the P/S line to the pump. Here, a piece of the Prelude's line is brazed to the Accord's part using a sleeve. Good idea.

You can use the prelude or accord power steering. If you use the accord you gotta get the power steering bracket of your accord engine. You have to use the accord and prelude lines in a combination to get power steering.

imo, the best, easiest, and safest combo is accord pump and lines with a 97+ lude p/s bracket.

btw that SCC h22 into an accord write up isn't very good.
