Ah - how do you know water got in there? Did it rain or something, and the hood and oil cap were off?

first thing to do is to drain the old oil and see what comes out..
then spray some wd40 in each cylinder just to be safe
and turn cranck counter clockwise.
if it doesnt move it means that the engine is crap..
just cross your fingers...

First....water in the "oil spot" won't really hydrolock an engine. It'll do some damage, but not like that. Anyway, don't "suck" anything. Just drain the oil out like you're doing an oil change. Do what Mr. Beeks said.

most likely, it will be fine

Just change your oil twice within a week to make sure that any water that got in there is out and you should be fine

no need to pour WD40 into your pistons, just change the oil a few times

LOL
any water that has attached to your cylinder wall will rust it right!
if you spray the wd40 will disolve the rust right "less damage"
and if you turn by hand you are slowly removing that debri.
but if want to follow that guys advise go ahead....

yeah thats really your only option, change the oil, spray some WD40 it wont hurt anything and then see if its locked or not i dont think there could have been enough water in there to do anything, but hey u never know and thats the only way to find out if it is hydro locked or not

dood, just change the oil, spray the wd40, turn the crank counter clockwise and hope it turns. If it turns change the oil within the next couple days just to make sure there's no water in it.

im sorry, but nothing anyone has said is too complicated. I dont understand why you're still asking questions.

Because water can get into the cyls through the oil fill cap

It wouldnt hurt, but I wouldnt use WD40, Id use regular motor oil and there is no need to hand rotate, just change oil/filter, pour a little down each spark plug hole, put everything together and start the bitch

You cant hydrolock a motor with oil through the fill hole. Hydrolocking is when water gets into the cylinders via the intake and since water cant compress, your engine stops rather violently

dont worry about turning it over by hand, just do the oil/filter change, take the spark plugs out, pour a little oil down each hole, throw the plugs back in and start the thing

Yeah, just change the oil and stop asking questions. How could we or you possibly know what's going to happen if you don't do that?

If it's hydrolocked, it's hydrolocked. There's nothing you can do about it. Now to prevent it from happening in the first place, change your oil. That's it.
