WANTED YOUR OPINION ABOUT CERTAIN CAMSHAFTS I'M DEBATING ON. IT'S FOR A B16A WITH A CROWER STROKER KIT. DISPLACEMENT=1959CC. DOME TYPE JE PISTONS W/ 12.5 TO 1 COMPRESSION. I AM DEBATING ON EITHER CROWER, SKUNK2. OR JG ENGINE DYNAMICS. STAGE 1,2, OR 3??? THE CAR WILL BE FOR STREET/ STRIP USE. I UNDERSTAND I'LL BE NEEDING A VAFC OR A PROGRAMMABLE EMS SYSTEM. PLEASE HELP. THANKS ALOT!

 

Go with the skunk satge 2. Makes good power and idle well for the streets.

 

skunk 2 stage 2 is rough for idling... i would say crowers

 

Do a search.. this issue is debated at length once a week.... all motor and everywhere else. Both are great... If you go bigger than stage 1, you need a new valvetrain.

You started this same argument over the caps lock on another thread. You even tossed the same insults at the first person to politely suggest that the caps lock is annoying, which it is. If you want people's help, the least you can do is turn the silly caps off.

BASIC ANSWER # 1. IN CASE YOU DIDNT READ HE SAID ITS FOR STREET/STRIP USE.
and maybe he wanted some more opinions on what he thinking. i think some people answer every topic with "do a search" just to be asses, and upgrade there status in the forum because they dont really know anything about cars. people come here for help not to be put down. if you dont want to help you shouldnt reply. YOU SHOULD DO A SEARCH ANGER MANAGEMENT.

Wassup. I'm also a newBee to this forum. I think regardless if the CAPS were on or not, the dude just wanted some help. Don't have to get so angry. Anyways, I'm not a pro, but I can tell you about my experience. I also have a B16 motor and I installed a Crower Stage2. Yes, I found out you need a VAFC or something like it. I also installed a Valve Spring/ Retainer Kit. It made alot of power! I've never tried any other cam but the Crower Part#63402 is awesome. I have no regrets.
