Default 1 last ? on auto tranny d3 flooring vs 1-2-3-4

eh i just want ur opinions dont flame cus yes im a noob obviously thats why im on forums

on my other post i was askin about racing an auto transmission

i posted on like 3 different forums and pretty much saw these 2 suggestions

1. go thru 1-2- d3- d4
unsafe for transmission but quicker / but honda owners manual says its ok ??

2 . floor it from d3 or d4 - d3 being better since it shifts at higher rpm
safer for transmission?? while some say its just as bad as going from 1 thru 4???

ive heard different things from different people .... but
um at the moment im leaning toward #2

i just wanan make sure im not messing up my tranny dont take it seriously if it seems like im not taking ur advice i just wanna be sure

Best thing for you to do man, is to leave it in D4. You can go from 1-2-d3-d4, if you want, but its just a quicker way to burn up your transmission.

Autos aren't made for racing. Actually, stock Accords aren't made for racing. Don't lower the life of your trans for no reason.

werd. i just did an auto to manual.. definetly not as bad as i used to think it was. I'd suggest that over running Auto tranny blowing it then wasting money replacing it. My auto tranny went out at ~65k and i used to shift thru gears as well.
