when u turbo, u use CAI tubing to help route air from innercooler (front mount) into the ITM......ur air intake is just a filter conected to ur turbo (on ur car, the turbo will sit directly behind the radiator)......plz start reading and learning.....

maybe this means, should you run your charge pipe w/ filter from the turbo inside the cabin "short ram", or outside the cabin "cai"?????

guess, kind of like the cold air intakes made for the WRX or someting

if u were to actually look under the hood of a WRX, ud see why u can run one....
same thing was 99% of FACTORY turbo cars.....

aftermarket intakes are pretty much useless on WRXs so long as you have the stock turbo. many wrx owners with intakes have run too lean and get CE lights.K&N dropin and a removed resonator is what most run.

When i get my turbo i'm going to use my CAI like some bizarre hood ornament, maybe itll make a cool whistling sound when i go fast before it breaks off and shatters my windshield.

since when is there such a thing as an NA WRX...there isn't...they are all turbocharged...i think you are referring to the 2.5RS, which still has some *****...turbocharge that and you are looking at some serious power...

anyways, to answer the original question and be civil about it, a turbo kit with an extension from the turbo into a place that will draw cold air would be optimum to increase power...

this is the dumbest thread ever....who cares about WRXs anyways.......

but to the origional creator: cut a hole in ur hood, then route piping through the hole w/ a filter on the end....then ull have a blower intake....for maximum power, ur then gonna wanna pull the valve cover, completly seal up ur exhaust piping shut, and run as LOW octane as possible...idl also recomend running w/ only 1 lugnut a wheel, as that reduces weight....

You'll care about them when you drive both a wrx and an STi. They're amazing, I got the opportunity to drive them both yesterday, and I now officially hate my car because it's so damn slow.
