Does anybody know what size wheel spacer I need if I get JDM DC5R rims with 215/45/17 tires for my RSX Type-S? The offset on those are +60. Stock rims are +45 offset with 205/50/16 tires. I already searched, but I keep getting where to buy wheel spacers.
Are the extended wheels studs a must with the DC5R wheels and a 5mm spacer?
I ran into the same problem tonight... tried to install the wheels and found the backs don't have proper clearance.

Don't take my word for it, but I heard that you only need extended wheel studs if your car is lowered. Maybe someone else can clear that up.

The exteneded wheel stud is not conditional upon being a lowered car...
I am concerned that with a 5 mm wheel stud there is 5mm less thread being used by the lug nut.

with 5mm less, it shouldn't be too big of a concern. but, that would be the reason why you would need extended studs if you use a thicker spacer.
you don't have proper clearance because the wheel is tucked in too far. when i didn't have spacers, my wheels would bang against the control arm over big bumps with passengers in the back(lowered on tein s techs)

I purchased a set of 5 mm wheels spacers today, they are working fine... before purchasing them I did test fit an 8mm wheel spacer and that fit as well. I achieved 6 full turns or more with the 8mm wheels spacers. Safety first.
