What The Hell Could The Problem Be?
I bought a neon underbody kit this weekend from some big sale form a store when
I was visiting my parents a state away. Tha compnay is Ractive and its a blue kit.
I got it all wired up and when I turned it on....... only the front and left side are
lighting up. I checked all connections and there twisted and wrapped perfectly.
The ground for the transformer and the switch are intact.
Is something commonly wrong with these kit or did I just get a bad kit?
Im not gonna bring it back across state over $40 bucks but the tubes seemed
perfect when I installed it. Could it be there not getting power somehow?

Please tell me you didn't simply just twist the wires together, then wrap them in electrical tape - please tell me you didn't?!!?
Swap the tubes out, put the "bad" ones where the "good" ones are. If the "bad" ones are still bad, and the good ones still good - then the tubes are broken. If the same side stays good, then it's your wiring that is suspect...which wouldn't surprise me...

Whats wrong with twisting lol? I mean I twisted it pretty good and gave about 1" from each side to be twisted.
I guess I will try switching them around, I thought maybe they would not be
getting power or something.
I never learn to solder but I though twisting would be fine.... dont see why not

No, twisting is not good, or reliable in any way. Soldering is one of the easiest things you can do; slide some shrink wrap on, heat the wire, touch solder to said wire, melt, remove heat, shrink the shrink wrap. If you're going to twist, at least use a wire cap for god sakes. Sorry, don't mean to flame, but it's just bad practice...

i still think soldering or using butt connectors are the better way to go. for use in wet conditions they've also got heat shrink butt connectors where you crimp the wire in on either end and then heat it up. I've used these things before for some 10AWG wire and they are extremely strong.
twisting is the ghetto way to do thing, but then again...maybe its better the underbody kit doesnt work

No, twisting would never be ok. Even inside a car.
