car started, idled. then wont start again,...
hey guys, i finished installing everything, b16a2 1000cc injectors hondata, (map courtesy of inline pro) and first time in a year started up new engine.. i did everything, i mean everything from top to bottom.. anyway
after making sure everything is good i went to start the motor, at first wouldnt start. then after a few seconds and playing with the timing, i got it to run,,. then to my surprise it was idling quite good .. i let it ran a few mins. shut it off to check everything out.. then went to restart the car. and it wont kick over.. any ideas???

it cranks and cranks but wouldnt start.... like i said ran fine for a about 3 mins but then i shut it off to make sure nothing was leaking and stuff.. and make sure i had oil getting to turbo.. but after that it just cranked and wouldnt start.. i didnt set timing yet, cause i havent had it running long enough to set timing...

There isn't just one 1000cc hondata base map, so it really depends on the particular basemap. I would turn it down to 30 or less to try to get it started. Like I said, PULL THE PLUGS first. This will tell you alot.
k i'll turn down the fpr to 30 to get it to idle, but what i dont understand
is that it did idle for like 4 mins. fine.. i just need it to run so i can get it up out to inline to do a little tuning.. hp goals around 450whp

Couldn't have said it better myself. The best advice I can give is this: when you ask for advice and somebody gives it to you, take it.

k guys, first thing this morningi went to start the car, and it started fine. ran, idled. for 5 mins and then i shut it off.. went to start it again. like 2 mins later and it wouldnt start..i did turn the fuel pressure down to about 36 psi.. but if i turn it any lower wont idle right seems. oh and didnt get to adjust timing yet. didnt have time today
k today ran car this morning, (total time i had my car running since its been back together has been about 12 mins).. i ran for like 3 mins.. shut it off. and once again wasnt able to restart teh car. i pulled plugs and they are black.. so i guess i'm flooding the engine. my fuel pressure is at aprox.. 35psi.. but dont know what else to do to get it to restart after ran.. i had the base map made by inline pro for 1000cc injectors... so i dont understand. what i can do until i get down there for some tuning. also i wanna make sure its running alright before i go down there, since its an 8 hour drive..
