GT Tokyo Concept 2001 comes out Jan 1st 02'

Basically auto makers got together with folks that made GT and basically put together simulator for the public so they can TEST Drive all the new concept cars for next yr from the Auto Show. There will be over 20 cars and suvs to drive..some are rurmored to even have few hidden cars. The cost will be around 29 dallors USD with tax in Japan..but formated for J-spec PS2 sys only.

What you see here is prototype of the game that is playable..it is suppose to be finer tuned then what you see..plus also the GT engine that runs this game is said to be tweaked verions of GT3 a spec engine...so you might see better visuals and sounds and so on.

The backgrounds look very crisp and detailed. I never took the time to just look at the backgrounds on GT3 on PS2, but is it just as detailed?

For those who have GT3... you can actually set the cars up for drifting. Takes abit of skills but that's up to you to master!

If you want to try it out... My fav car to drift is the S14 200sx. Here are my settings...

Full Mods on the engine. inc biggest turbo.
Fully mod everything else. eg, suspension, brakes etc...

Tyres:
Front: supersoft slicks
Rear: sport tyres

Suspension setup:
Spring rates - Front: 11kg/mm Rear: Max
Ride Height: Lowest you can set front/rear.
Dampers: Front: default (7) Rear: Max.
Camber: Front: 5.5 Rear: 1.5
Stabliser Bars: Front: 4 Rear: Max.

Turn off all traction control and active suspension or what ever it is.

You now have a drift car! You'd probably spin all over the place at first, but keep practising and you'll master it!

I can't believe how realistic GT3 is! Well done sony!
