Default What kinds of Air Mods do i do to my 01 prelude

Hi, i'm a new owner of a 2001 Prelude SE and i'm wondering how i could make my car any faster then it already is. Right now it has DC Sport headers as well lowered about an inch. what kind of intake and exuast should i be thinking of and how much gain will i be getting from it? (i was thinking AEM Cold Air and Greedy Exuast) how much gain?

The combination you are asking about will not yield a lot of HP gain. You will find the car will accelerate a bit faster because it is able to breathe easier. The fact you have a header is nice-the DC one does not increase HP as much as some others, btw and in fact the factory piece is very good for your model year. Cut some weight out of the car if you can (no big "system" for example) and that will be a free upgrade.

never knew you can do air mods. if you really wanna fly, put a huge wing on the trunk and sides of your doors. I'd go with AEM CAI, and Apex N-1 catback. might be a lil biased cause I have them on my car.

AEM CAI, an free-flowing exhaust like a Tanabe Race Medallion or N1 exhaust, and ditch the DC header for at least a Greddy unit.

Get Injen and Invidia.... They are the best! Headers- I couldn't tell you which ones are good because everyone is downing DC, but I always like the stainless 4-2-1 header myself.
