Timing setting with milled head
How much should I retard my ignition timing now that I am installing a .020 milled head ?? BTW, the chambers were re-shaped to gs-r style so compression will be increased further than the milling. Thanks !!
Best ignition timing would depend upon a number of factors including the gasoline available to avoid detonation.
The other problem is that your cam timing has changed now being retarded 1.5-2.0 degrees shoving the power band up a bit. You might want to consider adjustable cam gears along the way to compensate, especially if you change cams.

You're beyond 'recommendations' and into the land of intense tuning.
You need to get the best cam timing, fuel settings, and ignition timing. Perhaps I should have said 'tuning' rather than 'timing'.
Probably the best bet is a stand-alone system where you can control the ignition timing as well as the fuel.
