why not fix up the gsr with the parts from the ls? atleast you will have an authentic gsr with out taking out the motor and tranny which can be a PIA instead of stripping the interior and what not out of the ls and put it in the gsr

I dont know...i just bought my 96 ls about 4 months ago. id be sad to see it getting stripped. i have thought about fixing the gsr...then selling my LS.. im gunna ask like 4 grand for the ls...its standard, 120,000 miles...new tires...green. its not too bad. But yeah i think im gunna fix the gsr...how much woudl the interior panels cost and what notr...thats about all thats missing in the interior...

Being that the engine swap can be done in an afternoon, and the rest of everything done within a weekend, I don't blame him for his decision. Plus it's nice to see LS's with engine swaps.

i got it soo cheap, because the guy who owned it, moved to portland and couldnt bring it with himk...he had it at his parents house but then they made him move it. then where he put it, people was starting to strip it all...then rumor around was that the engine is going next...he wanted 5 grand last summer...but now i offered him $1,200 cash so he took it...im going to run carfax tomorrow
