what exactly are you talking about?</TD></TR></TABLE>
I think he is asking what vacuum line is supposed to hook up to that tube...
On the USDM Prelude intake manifolds there is actually a starting air valve in place of that tube and then a vacuum line runs from the starting air valve to the stock intake... But I can see yours is a JDM one so it does not have a starting air valve. The JDM manifold moved around their vacuum nipples so just make sure you have all of your vacuum lines hooked up, if they are all hooked up and you have nothing to connect to it, then just cap it off, no biggie...

Well line 14 runs runs to some sort of valve and then from that valve with and electrical connector and then to the egr valve... And I don't understand why the engine would kill when it is plugged...

The Starting Air Valve just allows for more air into the manifold ONLY when starting. The reason US Preludes have them is because the US is lazy and they don't want to ever have to maybe push on the gas a little when starting the car in case the throttle needs to be opened more...

got it, well, will i lose power if i left it out hanging like that? cause my idle drops to bout 500 when i do plug it up(point of kill). it just annoys me to see it unplugged and hear a vacuum.
what pics do you guys need to help the situation out?

dont need any more pics
this one clearly shows that line 14 goes to the nipple in question<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by H22A EG6 »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

The #14 line(EGR) is on the side of the manifold on USDM ones, and the one he is talking about is on the front in the place of the valve that Sam1am said.....Someone with a JDM motor should be able to compare, cuz it don't look like mine......
