Traction bars for Auto-X? any input, ideas, suggestions...
I'm going to be fabricating a set of traction bars for my 93 turbo hatch. I know they help preserve the suspension geometry under acceleration but I am wondering if anyone has any experience with them in this type of driving environment. They will have the correct geometry so binding and twisting other components will not be an issue. I expect they will help accelerating out of corners, let me know! thanks guys
technically they're not legal for anything under D-Mod
as per SM rules, it must attach to OEM mounting points. and since 93 hatches don't have em from the factory, that's that.
i personally don't think they are necessary for autoX. put $$ into a quality LSD and race tires first.

I ran my first autox this year with the Jimfab traction bar. Not sure if it helped a whole lot or not, but that bar put me into CSP.
