Default DC SPORTS COLD AIR INTAKE 4 DC5-S Wheel Well?

Anyone with the DC Sports Cold Air Intake, that did not have to cut a piece of the front driver side wheel well to make it fit?

The only way you don't have to cut that out is if you dont have the plastic guards in the wells... I guess you could melt it off, or something, then it wouldnt techically be cutting... I have an AEM CAI (the original one from 2 years ago), and that was one of the easier parts of the installation.
