Default injen vs aem or dc air intake?

I am looking at buying a cold air intake. Can anyone tell me which is better:
Injen or AEM or DC sports air intakes?
Any noticeable gains? good place on line to buy one cheap?
Thanks

Most people will say AEM is the way to go, but IMO I don't think it really makes a real big difference. If you can afford one, then go ahead and get one. If you have a little no how you can make your own. Here are the instructions on that.
http://jdmfan.com/technical/performance/custom_intake/

I know I'm not much help, but you can save some money making your own.

I have an Injen CAI and i love it.....They will probley give you the same hp gains which really isnt noticeable anyways. Digitalracer.com, Nopi.com Sells them at a Decent price.

both aem and injen are good. Go for whichever you can find cheapest.

the aem is good, the injen is good, but i didnt know that dc made cai's. the only difference that i cant think of is that aem has the paint on the outside that resists heat-and they look good.

Any one of those, or just get a K&N for you stock box, or cone filter for the intake arm. You can probably make your own short ram/CAI piping and put a K&N cone filter on for 1/3 of the price. Use the link someone provided to make your own

What I would do is remove the airbox resonator, install a K&N replacement air filter, and replace the stock airbox tubing with a piece of mandrel bent piping. Then it's like your own ARC-style airbox but at 1/8 of the price.

if you want a regular CAI, injen is the way to go. it performs slightly better than the AEM, and costs less. however, if you want the ultimate in intakes, you want the comptech intake+comptech icebox. 300 dollars total, but you get what you pay for. so decide what is best for you.

HOME DEPOT EDITON!

All in PVC: Two Elbow's, One long piece, 3" to 2" adapter, and 1 3" K&N Cone Filter.

Best $30 you'll spend, also it stays cool do to it being PVC plastic

it is said pvc will deteriorate under extreme heat (read: underhood heat from the engine). I like my idea better.

I have had AEM, Injen and Iceman. I was most impressed by the Injen.

Wait for the new AEM V2. Just another idea I didn't see mentioned. Not saying it's better, I'll wait for dyno plots.
