Default ACT clutch....problems!

im not really sure what the deal with my clutch is, when i bought it i was told it was a stage 2 street/strip clutch, and i bought it with a 12 lb flywheel.
It grabs really well but its hard to push the clutch in
(not really hard but harder than it should be) Ive never driven another car with a act clutch so i don't know if its just mine or if its everyones , but its definitely a lot harder to depress than my old stock one, and im not sure if its worth having, id almost just rather have the stock one, also im pretty sure my throw out bearing is going out because if i let it out too slowly i get a loud screeeeech.
anyone else have similar problems or solutions?

(i do have a very small leak in my master cylinder but im not sure if this is related to the problem)

ive had it a little less than a year and im trying to find a warranty paper or something to give me some hope

almost all ACT clutches have a stiffer pedal feel

you leaking clutch master cylinder would actually make it a tad softer, also you should have your release bearing replaced if it is squealing.

any performance clutch will have a stiffer pedal

Every ACT clutch I have ever driven has this screeching to it. Mine started two-three weeks after I installed it.

my 90 hatch with the act stage three was the same way except for the screeching it is normal for the extra effort but i would have the screeching checked by whoever installed it
