Default b16 vtec

I have a b16 in my crx and I just wanted to know if I should be able to feel it pull when vtec engages? I can hear it... but i feel nothing. All of the internals are stock, if that makes a difference. any help would be appreciated.

That is what i am told but it has no pull. you can clearly hear it kick in but the damn thing just doesn't get up and go.

You ever driven a B16A rex, or a B16A Civic? I doubt it with a retarded comment like that.

semi built b16 on a rex. Yea, probably a retarded comment but I think that vtec is something that is more noticeable then felt.

I have a b18c in my EG civic and my brother had a b16a in his CRX and in both when vtec kicks in you definatly can feel it pull, if you are just hearing it i would suggest making sure the vtec is actually engaging and you aren't just hearing something else. What RPM is your vtec kicking in at? what ECU are you running?
