Default Anyone running BFG drag radials?

I am just got a set of these for my car.

I hear you can hit 2.0-1.9 60 foots, next best thing to real slicks.

Last week I was only able to hit a 2.2 riding the clutch out around 6k. Some people were just telling me to launch higher and drop it the clutch and while most people swear on just riding it out.

Any suggestions from people who actually hit good 60 foots with these radials?

yep, we all use them here - they are great - i pull 1.9 60' times with ease on them in my all motor hatchback - launch about 5000 rpm and slip the clutch out - grabs and hooks hard shifting into 2nd

I use them on my RWD MIata and I am able to pull 1.55 60fts with them. Excellent tire! I use the 205/50/15 at 11psi Tire pressure.

Good Luck with them.

I'm a goof.. I run the 225/50/15 which are 23.9" tall. I use the 205/40/17 BFG KD tires on my street rims! Duh!

I have also tried the 215/60/14 with are 24.2" tall and ran some 1.69 60ft and this was before I had the experience I have now with suspension setup and launching. I'm sure I could get the same or better on them also.

Smallest wheel they make it for is a 14".
