Lude smokey on vtec.

My lude seems to put out a bit of smoke when vtec kicks in. the smoke is black. does this mean my car is running rich? is this something i can fix?

it's normal, there is always black smoke when vtec engages. if it's white, then start worrying.

there's a thread about this about a week ago, try looking for it.
