Default Removable harness bar

Has anyone put a removable harness bar in their ITR? I'd love to have a harness bar for mounting a race harness or a video camera for auto-x, but I don't want to lose the use of my back seat either (hardly anyone ever sits back there, but you never know). I was just wondering if anyone had one and if so, where you go it.

Most of the harness bars attach to the upper seatbelt mounts (one attaches to both the upper and lower mounts) and are not that easy to remove if you have to do it on a regular basis.

Also, they are not a safe place to MOUNT the harness, just use them as a guide for proper angle.

Thanks, it is best to just mount the lap belts to the driver seat bolts and the sholder belts to the rear seat belt bolts? Also, for those of you that do have a harness bar, does it interfere a lot with rear vision?

I have my lap belt mounted to the OEM seatbelt mounting points with eye bolts and the shoulder straps are mounted to the roll bar. A stand alone harness bar is good when you are mounting the shoulder straps to the rear/lower seatbelt mounting points, because the harness bar changes the angle from downward to horizontal as you approach the back of the driver's seat.

I will also go on record, irritating a few people, by saying that nobody should use a 4+ point harness without a helmet and rollover protection, either built into the car or added aftermarket.

harness bar = decrapitation bar
4 point harness = poser that doesn't care about safety
