Sorry guys, I didn't keep an eye on my tank of trimix......it's at zero right now And I won't be able to get a refill till friday, which means my orders wont ship out till next week. It kinda sucks because I have a bunch of 90% done downpipes sitting there and no gas to finish them with.

Here's a pic of 99bluesi's dp ( long one is 99bluesi's)

proeater's dp/cat

hey flip..nice work. I'm also interested in a 3" dp c/w full exhaust for my 18g. I have a quick question. The flange that comes off the my turbo has a really f'ed up cutout on it(the cast iron downpipe thats supplied by greddy). From looking at your downpipe, it appears that u have only a hole on the flange where the downpipe begins. Is this ok, given that we are running internal wastegates?? I'm under the impression that it is important to have the cutout on the flange match the cutout on the turbo!!?? Just curious...holla.

The pipe he built for me doesn't eliminate the gooseneck looking thing. Just the lower portion of the downpipe. I imagine that's what you mean.

hrm..... so does that mean that if someone had a greddy 18g turbo kit on their 3rd gen integra with ac and ps, that the downpipe replacement you make will be 2.5" to 3" after the ac compressor? You can't do straight 3" right off the turbo if people still have AC, eh?

I don't believe you can do a straight 3" off the compressor and still keep the AC...but I'm not positive. IT's a great price, and makes a world of difference...the turbo already spools pretty quickly, with this though, it's amazingly quick.

nah....keeping your ac will be very very difficult. It can be done but at what cost and pain. For one thing, the greddy manifold ***** the turbo inlet anyway from the block and the transmission. This inturn cuase the hot air side to point towards the block. Fitting a 3" elbow straight down is dam near impossible. Also...you have to worry about he fucked up flange cutout on the exhuast side...it will take some serious bashing, forming, hitting to get close to the shape....

just stick with the greddy cast iron downturn and flare out to a 2 1/2" or 3" after that...this is the setup I went with

18g refers to the size of the Greddy turbo that comes with the GSR, SI, and Prelude Greddy turbo kits. Mitsubishi turbo TD05H-18G
