i drove a 2dr and and own a 4dr....supposily 4dr are alot more stable on high speed due to the longer wheel base....but handling wise...well...it realli depends on what you do as a mod on ur part...the 2dr i drove....was sitting on pro-kit and blues...with stock sway bar....my 4dr is sittin on H&R sport and blues with a ITR sway bar....i'm loving my handling alot better then pro-kit....also..there suppose to be not as much body flex...like other people said...it's about 80lb differant....in daily drivin...that will not effect at all..but say if u was doin some drag or auto-x...it can be easier be replace....be any weight reduction....4 DR HAS SOMEHTING 2DR DONT....CHEAPER INSUARANCE...HAHA
Performance wise it won't matter 80lbs is nothing. I have a 2dr LS and a 4dr GSR. I love both equally. The 4dr handle very well with the pro-kit and HP blues. I also have a rear lower tie bar. 2dr seems a lil stiffer but not by much. My 4dr ran a 15.5 and I misshifted
It only has an SRI. Soon to be Greddy 4-2-1, carsound 2.25 cat, and apexi WS exhaust.

I LOVE MY 4 door teg, ive got the pro kit and some agx's. it handles really well. like everyone else said the 4 door is probably about 80lbs more but you can loose some of it CF hood take about rear seats everything in the trunk. its not going to even get rid of much but a little helps. i think the 4 door handles a little better due to the longer wheel base. but the best is still beaten someone at a stop light in my 4 door. my best 1/4 mile was 14.58 with I/H/custom 2.5 exaust/VAFC/camgears/pulleys
the prokit for the 4 door isnt low enough though

the 4dr has a longer wheelbase, better weight distribution, and a stiffer body, with relatively quite little extra weight. I think they handle better than the 2drs, having now tried both. plus, you can carry your friends in the back seat, and fit a keg in the trunk... not to mention cheaper insurance. 4dr 'tegs rock!

the exhaust is queit and looks good but its a bad performer..... my friend has an lsvtec eg hatch. 14.1 on streets. when he put that exhaust on his car i beat him buy about 4 cars in a stock gsr with just a clutch. NO JOKE!!!!!!!
if your lookin for that type of exhaust the greddy one is a more strait through design. or maybe tanabe

I agree with the minimal weight diff. As for me my 4-Door GSR is lowered on Ground control with Blues and DC Rear lower tie bar and OEM strut...with those it feels really stiff and handles very well.
Again the Insurance thing doesn't hurt either!

i think its pretty much the same. the suspension crossmembers are in the same place... similar platform and reinforcements, except for the extra center pillar... other than that... i dont see why it would be any significant difference.
I own a 92' 2door Ls and my brother owns a 91' 4door Gs. My brother just began to tune his suspension where as mine all ready has Eibach sport-lines, KYB GR2s, Hayame front upper and rear upper strut braces, Hayame rear lower tie-bar, and energy sus. sway bar end-link bushings on the front and rear. He only has on the 4door right now the end-links and an APC front upper strut bar. We both have Honda/Acura 14'' aluminum alloy wheels (our cars both came with steelies) and I think the 4door offers better stability at higher speeds but still has that soft G2 Integra feel at low speeds. I like the 2doors because they look better than the 4door even though the 4door does look good once its lowered and because of the hatchback feature. I like the 4doors because they have better stability and chassis rigidity and the back windows roll down pimp style!!! It was weird for me to drive the 4door because it held the road a tad better than my 2door stock but the little bit it gave you could be used tremendously on high speed corners. The part that tripped me out was the fact that the 91' Gs was one of the heaviest Integras produced and I surely doesn't run like my 92' Ls.
for some reason, 4dr integras>me. i dont know, its something about it, because not all cars do i feel the same about. basically, its one of the only cars where i would choose the 4dr over the coupe.
