once in a while vtec shuts off and its a real pain in the you know what. numerous times i've had to disconnect the battery to reset the ecu for vtec to turn back on. a buddy of mine said i should look for a new vtec cylanoid. anybody got one, and if so, for how much? thanks.

Isn't that the one that doesn't work on other motors?

Hmmmm...I know most of the B and D series solinoids are interchangable, but there's one that doesn't bolt up. I'm thinking that's the one.

 

my buddy told me to get one strictly from a 88-91 b16 vtec motor. he told me the same thing. that there are some that are interchangeable, but there is one that doesnt bolt up.
