I'm testing the waters before putting in too much effort on this project.

Would you be interested in a simple to install (4 wires), standalone device that removes the speed limiter on any honda, including OBD2 models? No effect on drivability below 118mph or the cluster speedometer. No ECU mods needed - OBD2 cars can stay OBD2.

Keeping it under $100 looks to be guaranteed. I'd rather see assembled devices in the $50-75 range with kits available substantially cheaper.

Proceeds would go to help fund further ECU/electronic device development, and http://www.pgmfi.org

i don't think many people wanna drive above 118mph as it serves no purpose but endanger the lives of other. even on the track, most cars that can run that fast are already on standalones.

HKS SLD (Speed Limit Defense) only sold in japan though. I helped a buddy install one and it worked with no problems. Cost around $100 + shipping.

BTW, It works for both OBD1 and OBD2
