Default Turbo install question?? Hondata

I have an 01 gsr putting a custom turbo kit on. I am wondering the best way to go about getting the car to the shop for hondata. The tech wants me to drive the car up there so he knows there is no problems, but I don't want to drive the car untill I get Hondata installed. Should I install with OBD2 ecu, stock injectors, and FMU. Then drive up to the shop and then swap out ECU (p28), injectors (RC 440), and remove FMU?? I know this question is pretty stupid but I love my car and want to prevent anything drastic happening...Thank you in advanced...Matt

the stock fuel system will be fine for driving it up there. Just stay out of boost. I don't even know why you would need the fmu in there to drive it up there. Just baby the car and you will be fine.

Just adjust your right foot.
I drove about 30 miles to my tuner with nothing more then my stock injectors because he didn't want to make a base map for me to run my 72# injectors on

yah i was wondering the same thing a few weeks ago... i have a similiar setup to you. Tomorrow I am driving my car about 60 miles down the DRT in nyc to have my hondata tuned. I will be driving down with stock injectors/ecu then installing the RC's and Hondata when i get down there.

when i had Rc's in it would flood out the motor and not run right... then i plugged in Hondata with 880 basemap with Rc's and it was not enough fuel. so ill be staying out of boost with stock parts on the way down.

I drove 80 miles many of which were on mountain hwy to get to the tuner. That was on basemap. Stay out of boost and you'll be fine.
