I have a 92 integra and was wondering where I could pick up a kit or the knowledge to put a targa top on it or some sort of sport roof. I live in Lincoln, Nebraska and I haven't seen any integras with it done so I want to be the first here. please help me. My email address is Nickels8692@aol.com either reply back or email me. thanx.

Did gen2 tegs come with sunroofs? If so, pick one up and see if you can swap it.

Man its an Integra not a Supra. Save your money and do a JDM front on it. It will look a million times better.

I like the front end my car the way it is. And I want to do something different. I know its not a supra but I think it would look good.

Until you made a turn and your car buckled under the stress.

You have to think about the consequenses of doing something like that. It would kill chassis rigidity and put unnecessary stress on the lower parts of the frame. Under heavy load, it could cause damage. Also, your handling would go straight to hell as the reduced chassis rigidity would cause the frame to flex more during hard cornering.

realize that stock convertible cars are built differently. they have a more rigid chassis because it has to be able to perform under heavy flexing with a huge hole in the top. your car will shake rattle and roll on every bump after a 100 miles or so, then eventually fall apart. there are things that could remedy that, but you're talking about big bucks already

Just to add, most conversions that are made ae not exactly water proof. They tend to leak after time. Once again it is your car, do whatever pleases you!

but those JDM hoods and bumper lenses are so expensive. those 2 things would easily add up to the cost of a targa top conversion.

Is that sarcasm? A "JDM" hood is the same price as a regular hood. Bumper lenses are what? $50 max?

guess i was being too sarcastic. i was hinting to the fact that there really is no front end conversion in the sense that everyone thinks it is. its only 1 piece headlights and sidemarkers (exterior wise, bumper support if you count that too)

as for hood and bumper lights, they are the same here as they are in japan for 92-93. no difference except the under hood writing and the "H" or "A" badging.
