Lighter question pinpointed....
I posted a question like this but it was too general. I found out that I need a protective cover for the actual lighter. The guy at the parts place told me you have to unscrew the actual metal lighter and put it in the plastic protector I'm buying and that was it. Sorry about the crappy explaination but its hard for me to explain
I'm still unsure of what to do. If what he said was true does the plastic protector snap in the console? If someone could give me some instructions or a illustration I would appreciate it.

Its a 90 Accord LX. I'm not sure if thats it because I've never seen one before. The price at the dealer is about $8.00. If you were to look at my car's lighter area you would see a decent size hole and a spot where it looks like some plastic has broken off. Thanks

i had to replace the same part in my 91. its really easy to install, just take out the broken peice and slap in the new one. It just "clicks" into place.
