Hondata s200b Only Running in Open Loop on Long Drives...
As the title states, I've noticed my Hondata starts running the car only in open loop after about 15-30 min. The autometer A/F gauge stays in the green region while my foot is on the gas pedal at all, not just in boost. It actually drives better than when I'm just driving around town, b/c I have major part-throttle problems, occuring at the transition from vac to boost. I'm wondering has anyone else experienced this?
i think its all in your head...or the tune....
typically I dont like using closed loop, i can make the car get better gas mileage without the o2 feedback

It might not be running in open loop, but I know something different is happening. When my car is running normally around town, the A/F gauge blips back and forth like usual, and goes all green when I get close to boost and am in boost. When it changes, the A/F does not blip back and forth at all. It just stay in the rich zone.
I'd really prefer to always be in open loop, b/c I get awful bucking/hiccuping/lean-spots, whatever you call it, when I'm not in boost. It's all smoothe when I go into this open loop zone, b/c it never resorts back to closed loop. Am I making any sense?
