accord rear brake replacement
ok been stressing on this, because i did my conversion, and now i have rear discs instead of drums. I turned both rotors before puttin them on, now i also go PBR metal master pads. I compressed the piston all the way down, and when i put on the calipers, the rotor is clammped tight by the front pad (one you can see) the rear pad has about 1-2mm of space. Should i worry bout this? My car isnt drivable for another 2 weeks, so i have time to work on it. Or will it just even itself out?
bro....if u did a conversion and used old calipers then u need to spend some cake and go down to your local auto shop and ask them for loaded or semi/loaded calipers......when u puchase these setups u get that bracket with them. otherwise u are gonna have to free that slide with poissibly a hammer and a bench vise. after freeing them u have to lubricate them with a good quality anti-seize compound. i hope this helps.
