b/h series throttle body port matched to d16y8 intake manifold. would this work/fit on an sohc zc or a d16a6? or does the y8im only work on sohc vtec heads. i'm going mini-me in the future but for now i just want to see if this would work on a sohc zc or 16 head. thanks.

 

nothin fits d16a6 ..get a manifold from a z6 or a y8 then get the t/b you want and hook it up

 

The z6/y8 Im will fit any D series head but the TBs will not fit the A6 IM.

Any d series intake manifold will fit on any d series head.. If you want a b series throttlebody then you will have to port out the d-series intake manifold a little bit to port match it.. Thats what I did on my crx and it works great..

yeah that's what i was thinking. mate a b/h series tb to the y8 manifold. then connect it to sohc zc head. thanks for clearing that up though.

I'm running a Y8 intake manifold with a GSR throttle body on my A6. Everything bolts right up.
