i have a 98 civic coupe. with that said, i have ordered a 95 gsr complete swap. when it showed up, the wiring confused me a little. my 98 ex harness for the motor goes all the way inside the the kick panel to the ecu. the gsr harness is shorter and stops at the passenger side strut tower. i really need help. i want to use this set up with an aftermarket computer, so getting the proper wiring is important to me.

 

you gonna have to use your existing ex harness, all you gonna have to add is iab's.

 

Yeah i would take that gsr harness off the motor and sit it to the side. You might need a few plugs off of it. You will use your EX harness, you just need to extend a few thinks and add the iab wiring as said above. Any specific questions you can PM me. Good luck.

 

will the ex harness plug fit with an aem computer made for a gsr, with a gsr map?

 

95 gsr's are obd1 and 98 civics are obd2 you need a conversion harness, or you can use the one off the motor and make your own

 

where do you get a conversion harness? how expensive are they?

i tried looking at hasport, but they dont sell a harness for my swap.
