need help with ls vtec swap
i have a 92 cx hatch w/ a 97 ls motor swap. i'm wanting to make it vtec. what all do i need to buy and do. i'm trying to get an exact list together of everything needed! thanks
well, i guess i can help rather than just typing some addy's up there.
so basically here's a quick rundown.
new ls headgasket, new water pump, new timing belt, (some people use gsr's but i used a b20), arp headstuds for a gsr, 1/8th plug ( to plug up the existing vtec oil hole on the underside of the head, use a drillbit to make the hole bigger then tap it with a 1/8th tap, then use loctite and screw the plug in. get a ls/vtec oil line kit ( kit comes with ss line and fittings. golden eagle ls/vtec conversion kit works well.
there's so much more and american choppers is about to come on so, lates.
