Please help after skunk2 IM install. Which vacum goes where
Well we did my IM install a few days ago and my lines are all mixed up. I had some friends helping me and we got the lines all mixed up. The one on the top of the intake mani goes down to the black box correct. Here is a pic of the one on the intake mani we had to plug it off cause it would not idle.

Ok i looked below the intake mani and the one that is suppose to be where that plug is just sitting there (isnt there a valve that goes between the mani and the black box or is it just a hose). Coming out of the black box on the motor there is a tee one end goes to the hose that is just sitting there which I think is suppose to go up on top of the IM and the other end of the tee goes to the charcoal canister. This does not seem right that it is teed from the black box and going into the charcoal canister.
I believe I know where the one out of the black box goes (to the top of intake mani) but where does the one go that is coming out of the charcoal canister (currently it is teed in the black box which I believe is really wrong). My friend insisted that it was hooked up rght but I am glad I went out there and looked at it all. Thanks guys

I just came across a old thread and it says to tee it out of the black box on the back of the block and take it to the EVAP. Are the EVAP and the charcoal canister the same thing?
I think you might be mistaken. The "black box" is for your pcv. You connect it to the fitting you have plugged. Def. not the evap canister.
The small vaccum fitting on the back of the I/M goes to the evap canister.

Ok is the PCV valve on the black box or does it sit on the intake manifold. I understand the PCV stuff but what about that extra line I have coming out of my charcoal canister

The PCV box = OEM oil catch can... One hose from the box goes to the port on the back of the block (crank case), and the other hose (connected to the red fitting) goes to the port you are pointing to in your picture... That hose should be fit between the runners to that port... You may need to buy a longer hose to get it to fit/seal properly. Some people replace the OEM pcv catch can with an aftermarket one (ie. greddy/srr/moroso/etc.), and new hoses all around.
In your case you prob just need a longer hose...

i got it now guys thanks. Im gonna need to get a new PCV valve cause mine is not installed now. Maybe thats why it was idling so high when we had it all hooked up cause there was no valve there at all.
As for the Evap im gonna run that to the back right nipple on the IM. Currently that is capped off as well. Why is that back right nipple so small , the hose seems like it is 3/8 big.

That is just the way they mfg. the I/M. I used a small piece of vacuum hose, then put that in the evap hose, attached it to the vacuum fitting and hose clamped that bitch on.
