Default Wheel Dilemma - Prelude to Civic---thoughts?

I own a 94 Honda Prelude Si and my wife owns a 94 Honda Civic DX. She hit a pothole this morning and bent her rim.

My friend used to own a 98 Honda Civic EX and owns a set of ALT 16" rims which currently have 205/45/16 tires on them.

Could put my Prelude 205/55/15 wheels and tires on my wife's 94 Civic and put my friend's 205/45/16 ALT tires and rims on my Prelude?

What would be the PROs and CONs of doing this swap? I understand that the speedometers would be off on both my Prelude and my wife's Civic (speedometer actually reading faster than I'm actually driving in the Prelude and reading slower that I'm actually driving in the Civic), but are there any other thoughts? Will I run into any problems with offsets or anything else? Can my wife drive her civic with my 205/55/15's without any problems?

If I needed to buy new tires for the each set of rims--what would your suggestions be?

Thanks in advance for all of your thoughts!

BTW - My wife currently has 175/70/13 on her Civic.

Anyone else had any experience bending a rim when hitting a pothole? Could she of damaged anything else?

Yes. Both my Prelude and my wife's civic have a 4 x 100 bolt pattern. I have a 94 Prelude SI and she has a 94 Civic DX.

Is this still an issue?

94 Lude = 4 x 114.3 not 4x 100

Thanks for your help! So the Civics are 4 x 100. So I'd be safe to put on my friend's old ALT rims on my wife's DX? He had a 98 Civic EX and she has a 94 Civic DX.

As another option---has anyone had a rim bent and fixed? Is this easy to do?

Depends on how bent the rim is. If it's not bent in half, it can most likely be fixed at a pretty cost.
As for the 4x100 ordeal.. Civic/Integra=4x100
Prelude/Accord are 4x114.3 can't just switch rims without the brakes.
