got lots done on sunday.. not 56k-friendly
had to take the front bumper off to put the lip back on (long story).. i decided to wetsand and polish the headlights in the meantime.. note how clear they are. i should have taken before shots. what a difference!

put the wheels back on with the new kumho MXs..

and gave her a good wash..

next step.. a bunch of maintenance stuff.. (spring cleaning)

well, i actually took the easy way out. people usually work their way up from a coarser grit (320 maybe), all the way up to 2000. then they polish it, and seal it.
what i did was hit it straight with 1500 grit. wetsanded with soapy water, polished it, and finished it off with 2 layers of wax.
i would recommend that you have the bumper off when you're doing this. there's no way i could have done it as neatly as i did with the bumper on.
and thanks again all for the compliments..

correct, the have faded (more like, chipped away). they are the stock corners and i intend on repainting them soon.

nah, i'm not getting clear corners. been there, done that. i never really liked them from day one of having them on the car (years ago), and i eventually decided that they look awful on any car 99% of the time. not going to paint the sideskirts either. they match the lip, good enough for me. if i was to do anything more to the exterior, i'd pull the dents on the driver-side door.
hope i didn't just sound like a dick with my reply. i do appreciate your opinions.
anywho, like i said before, next steps: maintenance stuff.. (and respray the corners)
