I know the suspension is different but will I beable to use the springs on my 88 si for 89-91's? I wanted to pick up a set of Tein STech springs, so I can put them on when I get my Gram Lights put on, once more of this winter salt is taken off the road here

dude its not 89-91 its 88-91... the suspension is the same. at least it was on my 88 si.

the 88s have the passive rear stuff thingy majig.

I had the same problem, I bought the S-tech's for my 88 crx to find on the Box Tein says 89-91. I threw them on anyways and havent had any problems, I believe that only the rear shocks are mounted different.

 

the LCAs are different and the way the strut mounts to it.

As an 88 crx owner, this is true! I now went with 89-91 rear LCAs to buy cheaper $$ struts. As far as springs, they are the same for all 88-91 civic/crx.
